Swimming Pool and Spas

Enjoy an invigorating swim in our outdoor geothermal heated pool and two spas. The spas are situated in a relaxing garden setting, with glimpses of the geothermal valley beyond the boundary.

The swimming pool is surrounded by a paved area with seating to enjoy a meal outside, as well as a large grassed area.

The pool area is available for use from 6.30am until 10.30 pm daily.

Fitness Centre

The hotel Fitness Centre is accessible 24 hours per day using your room key. A range of cardiovascular and weight machines are available. Towels and drinking water are provided inside the Fitness Centre.

In addition to the Fitness Centre, Holiday Inn Rotorua is located very close to the Redwoods Forest and the Rotorua Walkway circuit, providing numerous options for walking, running and cycling.

WIFI & Internet

WIFI is available in the hotel lobby, with the first 30 minutes or 30 MB free, after which vouchers can be purchased for 30 minutes, 1 hour or 2 hours. Broadband internet access is available in all guest rooms, with rates from $10.20 or via the internet kiosk in the lobby area opposite Reception.

Games Room

The games room contains a selection of coin-operated games.

Guest Laundry

The hotel has two self service guest laundries, one in the main Tower Wing and the other on the Ground Floor in the Whaka Wing. NZ$2 coins are required to operate the machines which automatically dispense liquid detergent.

Alternatively, the hotel has an external laundry and dry cleaning service collection daily, every day except public holidays. Laundry collected from your room before 8.30am will be returned to your room on the same day.

Lobby Shop

A wide range of New Zealand crafts and souvenirs, including clothing, carvings and jewellery are available from our lobby Souvenir Shop. There is also a great selection of small gifts to satisfy those both young and old. The lobby shop is open 7.30am until 10am and 6pm until 9.30pm.

Car Park

A complimentary car park is available for guest use. On occasion this may be fully utilised, in which case there is plenty of additional parking in surrounding streets.

The car park is accessed via the Froude Street entrance, with ample car and bus parking

Complimentary Shuttle Service

Our complimentary shuttle operates between the hours of 8.00am and 9.00pm daily, on the hour. All drop offs and pickups will be to and from the Rotorua Tourism Centre located on Fenton Street.

The complimentary shuttle operates on demand, so all you need to do is advise Reception if you would like to be dropped off, and then call the hotel when you are ready to be picked up.
